Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pre/Post Cardiac and Vascular procedures in Glenview, IL. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week in a 3‑12 shift from 8a to 8p, with no weekends and no on-call requirements.

Responsibilities include pre‑procedure assessments, patient education, and intra-/post‑procedure care in a high‑volume setting. Ideal candidates hold an IL RN license, ADN or higher, and BLS/ACLS within 6 months, with 2+ years in telemetry, ED, CCU or ICU preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold IL RN license and an ADN or higher.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within 6 months.
• 2+ years of Telemetry/ED/CCU/ICU experience preferred.
• Ability to perform pre-procedure assessments and care.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre‑procedure patient assessments, including history review and vitals.
• Prepare patients for cardiac and vascular procedures and ensure readiness.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and care needs.
• Coordinate with physicians, cath lab staff and anesthesia for timely care.
• Monitor post‑procedure patients and manage vascular access sites.
• Document assessments and progress in the electronic medical record.
