ChristianaCare Newark, DE is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Heart Failure Unit (5E) to deliver comprehensive nursing care to high-acuity cardiac patients, including post‑operative open‑heart and LVAD cases, chest tubes and pacing wires. RNs provide advanced assessment, continuous hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, and patient education.

This full-time, day/midnight rotating role requires BLS (ACLS preferred), a BSN in progress or BSN preferred, and Delaware RN licensure.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire.
• At least one year of RN experience required, stepdown and critical care experience preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to high-acuity cardiac patients on 5E.
• Perform advanced assessment and continuous hemodynamic/cardiac monitoring.
• Administer medications and educate patients and families.
• Detect changes in patient condition and respond promptly.
