Job summary

Pulse Heart Institute at MultiCare Health System is seeking a cardiac staff RN for a float pool across multiple departments. This night-shift, 12 hour shifts rotating weekends is an excellent opportunity to apply specialized nursing care within a world-class cardiovascular program.

Responsibilities include prioritizing patient care, using the nursing process, and collaborating with teams to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or obtained within five years from date of hire.
• RN with 15+ years may be considered in lieu of an education agreement.
• Advanced degree in Nursing preferred (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP).
• Current WA RN license or MLS endorsement.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS or related certifications as required by department.
• Three years of recent experience in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating.
• Use nursing education and experience to deliver care per policies and protocols.
• Collaborate with nursing team to improve quality, experience and costs.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
