Job summary

The Pulse Heart Institute within MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Staff RN for nights on a 0.75 FTE schedule, with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends. You will provide patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care in a multidisciplinary, nurse-owned environment.

Requirements include WA RN license, BSN preferred, BLS and other certifications as required by the department; one year in acute care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize nursing knowledge and experience to deliver care using the nursing process according to policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families and staff.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
