Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and has experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Valid RN License from Virginia or reciprocal compact state required.
• BSN is preferred; all RNs with an Associate's Degree in Nursing will be required to obtain their BSN within five years of hire (Effective March 2014).
• ACLS/ACLS Provider required within 60 days; BLS Provider CPR required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care with oversight of staff.
• Coordinate patient/family involvement in care and discharge planning.
• Communicate plan of care with health team members.
• Participate in performance and quality improvement activities.
• Participate in orientation of new staff and hospital committees.
