Mary Washington Healthcare in Virginia is seeking a Level II Competent Registered Nurse who can deliver total, patient-centered care using the nursing process and collaborate with the healthcare team to improve outcomes.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, professional accountability, and participation in quality improvement and policy development while supporting new staff through orientation and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed RN.
• Minimum one year of Cardiac Critical Care experience preferred.
• Virginia RN license or reciprocal compact state required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Direct and coordinate nursing care with interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Coordinate patient/family involvement in care and discharge planning.
• Communicate plan of care to health team members.
• Assist leadership to define standards of excellence in patient care.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives.
• Orient new staff and act as policy liaison for units.
