Job summary

McLaren Flint is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess and plan patient care across multiple units, with a focus on cardiovascular services, cath lab, ER, and ICU contexts. The role requires MI licensure, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months of hire, with preference for CCRN and prior critical care experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining IVs, interpreting 12-lead ECGs, and delivering high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice nursing in Michigan.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Experience in cardiac critical care units, cath labs, ED, or related acute care settings.
• Preferred CCRN certification for certain units.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs and plan nursing care.
• Develop and implement written care plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Adhere to McLaren Flint nursing standards and coordinate care with the team.
