Job summary

McLaren Flint in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 6 C Clinical Transitional Unit on the night shift (7:00 pm - 7:30 am). Responsibilities include assessing patients’ needs and leading nursing care to ensure plans are carried out by the team.

Applicants should have an active RN license in Michigan, BLS/ACLS, and be prepared for unit-specific ACLS timelines. Prior critical care or cath lab experience is preferred and CCRN is a plus.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice nursing in Michigan.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer for specified units.
• Telemetry monitoring/interpretation experience recommended.
• CCRN certification is preferred for certain units.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents patient status on admission and continuously thereafter.
• Develops written plan of care with goals and nursing actions.
• Adheres to nursing standards and uses the nursing process to guide care.
