Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to assess physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients within assigned units and plan nursing care to meet those needs. You will lead nursing actions and ensure care plans are carried out through supervision of staff.

The role requires BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and 2+ years in cardiac ICU/Cath Lab or ED/CCU. CCRN is a preferred credential for this inpatient nursing position.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice in Michigan.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Two years of experience in cardiac ICU/CCU/ED or related areas.
• CCRN certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient status on admission and throughout stay.
• Develop written plan of care with long- and short-term goals and nursing actions.
• Adhere to McLaren Flint nursing standards and use the nursing process to guide care.
