Qualifications

• Licensure: NY RN with current registration.
• Certified NP by NYSED; current NP registration.
• Graduate NP program or post-master's NP certificate.
• DEA certificate and BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NALS, NRP as required by specialty.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status via comprehensive history and physical exam.
• Order therapeutic/diagnostic procedures, prescribe meds, and adjust care.
• Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and management.
• Document findings and plan of care in the medical record.
• Consult with physician according to standards and protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Develop care plans based on diagnoses and patient needs.
• Initiate referrals to specialty services and coordinate care.
• Participate in team meetings to support interdisciplinary care.
• Ensure FPPE/OPPE compliance for credentialing.
