Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports nursing personnel in direct patient care and assists with daily activities.
• Serves and collects food trays and provides between-meal nourishment.
• Changes bed linen, runs errands and sterilizes treatment trays and supplies.
• Transports patients within the facility for consultations, treatments, tests or examinations.
• Measures and records vital signs such as temperature and pulse; provides basic treatment.
• Maintains a safe care environment for patients and families.
• Conducts continuous rounds and check-ins to meet patient and family needs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
