Job summary

First Community Credit Union is seeking a Card Services Lead for our Copperfield headquarters in NW Houston. The role directs card services personnel, ensuring accurate processing of back-office tasks and assisting members with card-related questions. It also handles approved applications, settlement files, disputes, and fraud cases.

The ideal candidate has an associate's degree or equivalent experience and 3–5 years in banking or card services, with on-site work at Copperfield.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of a specialized course of study OR equivalent work experience.
• Three to five years of banking, financial or other card services experience.
• Experience supervising or leading a team in a card services environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct card services personnel to ensure accurate and timely processing of back-office card tasks.
• Assist members with card services questions related to their accounts and process approved applications and settlements.
• Oversee lost/stolen card duties, provisional credits for disputes and fraud cases, and bond claims per procedure.

Job description

First Community is looking for a Card Services Lead for our Copperfield headquarters (NW Houston).

The lead will be responsible for supervising and directing card services personnel, ensuring accurate and timely processing of various back office card service tasks, assist members with card services questions regarding their account, process approved applications, settlement files, disputes and fraud cases.

The lead will also be responsible for conducting meetings with team members, as necessary, oversee duties related to lost/stolen cards, providing provisional credit for transaction disputes and fraud cases, submitting bond claims per procedure.

Additionally, oversee the monitoring of fraudulent card reports and investigation, along with other duties as assigned.

The qualified candidate will possess an associate's degree or equivalent work experience and 3-5 years of banking, financial or other card service experience.

This is an on-site position, currently based out of our Copperfield location.
