Job summary

PLI seeks a Production Supervisor to coordinate daily manufacturing activities and resolve quality issues to ensure a quality product is delivered to the customer in a timely manner. The role also involves coordinating with other departments to satisfy customer needs and resolve defective product issues.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate work activities of personnel and organize workflow.
• Manage daily production schedules in card manufacturing.
• Communicate maintenance issues to Production Manager and Maintenance.
• Review and address quality or functionality issues.
• Track waste and complete daily production reports.
• Perform basic HR duties such as timekeeping and vacation approvals.
• Resolve personnel issues by analyzing data and finding solutions.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure policies.
• Train and mentor production staff to improve skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Work extended hours as needed.
