Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, LLC is seeking skilled Pipe Welders to join our Browns Summit, NC manufacturing shop. You will primarily work with Carbon Steel, welding in various positions and ensuring 100% weld quality.

The role includes reading blueprints, fabricating metal products, and installing equipment according to specs. Applicants should have at least five years of pipe welding experience, be proficient in SMAW, and able to pass cert tests for Carbon Steel Schedule 40 Pipe.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• 5+ years of pipe welding experience.
• Proficiency in SMAW welding.
• Ability to pass certification tests on Carbon Steel Schedule 40 Pipe, open root joint and 6G fixed position.
• Welds must meet ASME Sec IX Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Weld in various positions according to safety-oriented procedures.
• Perform 100% weld quality in all positions.
• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products.
• Install and repair various equipment and components.
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specs.
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerances.
