Job summary

Haffner’s, a regional fuel distributor and trusted NH/MA/Maine partner, seeks a Director of Car Wash Operations. This senior role guides all site operations, drives monthly sales reporting, launches new sites, oversees vendor relations, and leads training and safety programs.

You will report to the VP of Retail and manage site-level profitability. Based in Lawrence, MA, this full-time position requires regular travel and a strong track record in multi-site car wash management, with clear focus

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CAR WASH INDUSTRY experience, 10+ years preferred.
• Experience managing multi-site car wash operations.
• Demonstrated success growing membership-based programs and leading sales teams.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout MA, NH, and ME.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and retain high quality site managers.
• Collaborate with site managers to ensure proper training and resources.
• Uphold a culture of accountability by enforcing standards and policies.
• Drive performance using KPIs and corrective actions as needed.
• Manage profits and losses for each location.
• Lead car wash safety programs, OSHA compliance, and safety initiatives.
• Develop and monitor equipment maintenance programs.
• Evaluate sites for upgrades and remodels; source parts/equipment.
• Serve as primary contact with car wash suppliers and vendors.
• Drive membership growth across locations with effective sales strategies.
• Coach and develop high-performing, sales-focused teams.
