Job summary

Balise Motor Sales in Wallingford, CT is seeking a full-time Car Wash Attendant to greet customers, direct traffic through the tunnel, and process payments at the station.

You will deliver friendly service, upsell memberships where appropriate, maintain a clean facility, and support the detail department as needed, with potential for commission based on memberships sold. College students are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Team player.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Detail oriented.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they drive up to payment station and tunnels.
• Direct and instruct drivers into the tunnel conveyor.
• Deliver excellent service to all customers; positive interactions including answering questions.
• Manage customer's accounts; updating credit card information as needed, upselling, etc.
• Operate cash register and process payments inside for those customers who don’t drive up.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace around the facility.
• Empty trash cans around Vacuum site and facility.
• Maintain clean restrooms.
• Attend team meetings.
• Assist detail department as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Must be available for potential open and/or closing shifts
• This position has the ability to earn commissions based on selling memberships
