Gas-N-Wash LLC in Joliet, IL is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily car wash operations and lead a high-energy team. You’ll drive guest satisfaction, coach staff, and manage memberships and add-ons to boost revenue.

You will greet guests with enthusiasm, ensure efficient opening/closing, and coordinate maintenance to keep the wash performing at its best. This role requires leadership, stellar service, and a hands-on approach to daily challenges.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Customer-first mindset and a passion for memorable service.
• Strong people skills to motivate, coach, and build a positive team culture.
• Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to meet monthly targets.
• Team player with a genuine desire to help customers.
• Strong problem-solving and staying calm under pressure.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn car wash equipment operations.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel for training and development and work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations from opening to closing procedures.
• Maintain exceptional customer service for guests.

• Promote and sell unlimited wash memberships, gift cards, and upgrades.
• Educate customers on wash packages and add-ons.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets while delivering great service.
• Lead, coach, and inspire CSR's and shift leaders to deliver top-tier service.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and convert challenges into loyalty opportunities.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance teams to keep the wash running smoothly.
