Job summary

Budget Car and Truck Rental of Utah is seeking a reliable, customer-oriented team member to support Murray and Salt Lake City rental operations. This role blends customer service, sales, administrative tasks, and vehicle coordination, assisting customers with rental needs, explaining options, processing contracts and payments, and collaborating with our fleet team to keep daily operations running smoothly.

No car rental experience is required; paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving history.
• No more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past three years.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to work weekends.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable with sales, computer work, and handling payments.
• Dependable, professional, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with rental reservations, pickups, returns, extensions, and exchanges.
• Recommend vehicles and optional protection products.
• Prepare rental contracts, process payments, and maintain records.
• Coordinate with fleet team on vehicle availability and readiness.
• Answer questions and resolve routine customer concerns.

Budget Car and Truck Rental of Utah is looking for a reliable, customer-oriented team member to support our Murray and Salt Lake City rental operations.

This position combines customer service, sales, administrative tasks, and vehicle coordination. You'll assist customers with rental needs, explain vehicle and protection options, process contracts and payments, and work with our fleet team to support daily operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Help customers with rental reservations, vehicle pickups, returns, extensions, and exchanges.
• Recommend vehicles, upgrades, and optional protection products.
• Prepare rental contracts, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Assist customers with insurance replacement rentals and business accounts.
• Answer questions and resolve routine customer concerns.
• Update customer, reservation, and vehicle information in company systems.
• Check vehicle mileage, fuel, and condition during rental transactions.
• Coordinate with fleet personnel regarding vehicle availability and readiness.
• Assist with general branch operations and maintain an organized work environment.
