Job summary

Kendall Ford of Wasilla is hiring a full-time Lot Attendant to keep our dealership's lot clean and vehicles test-drive ready. You'll wash, vacuum, move, fuel, and prepare vehicles for customers while supporting the team in daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Willing to work weekend and/or evening shifts.
  • Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles including hybrids.
  • Must have a good driving record and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and vacuum new and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Drive and move vehicles as needed.
  • Fuel vehicles at an off-site location.
  • Prepare vehicles by removing wraps and getting them customer ready.
  • Occasionally jumpstart or charge vehicles.
  • Perform janitorial tasks inside and outside dealership.
  • Deliver vehicles to other Kendall locations.
  • Work outdoors and indoors; standing or walking most shifts.
  • Use hand tools, pressure washers and carwash equipment daily.

We are looking for full-time self-motivated, reliable candidates ready to begin a career in the auto industry. This is an entry level position providing training and room for growth. We also offer ample opportunities for career advancement for good performers, whether you\'re interested in sales or service this position will allow you to enter the auto industry and find the right career path.


Job duties include washing and vacuuming new and pre-owned vehicles, driving and moving vehicles as needed, fueling vehicles at an off-site location, preparing vehicles by removing wraps and getting them customer ready, occasionally jumpstarting or charging vehicles, janitorial tasks inside and outside the dealership, delivering vehicles to other Kendall locations.


Work is generally performed both outdoors and indoors, some time spent in a shop environment, majority of job duties will be completed via standing or walking, though bending and twisting will occur to enter and exit vehicles. Use of some mechanics hand tools, pressure washers and general carwash equipment will be used daily and throughout entire work shift.

Requirements
