Job summary

Kendall Toyota of Fairbanks has an immediate opening for a Lot Attendant to join our team. This entry-level role offers training and room for growth as you help keep vehicles test-drive ready and the lot organized.

Responsibilities include washing and vacuuming vehicles, moving cars around the lot, fueling at an off-site location, and delivering vehicles between Kendall locations. Work outdoors and indoors with some shop exposure; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Entry level position with training and room for growth.
• Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles including hybrids.
• Must have a valid driver license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Wash and vacuum new and pre-owned vehicles.
• Move vehicles around the lot and drive vehicles as needed.
• Fuel vehicles at an off-site location.
• Prepare vehicles by removing wraps and getting them customer ready.
• Occasionally jumpstart or charge vehicles.
• Perform janitorial tasks inside and outside the dealership.
• Deliver vehicles to other Kendall locations.

We are looking for self-motivated, reliable candidates ready to begin a career in the Automotive industry. This is an entry level position providing training and room for growth. The hourly wage for this position is $20, with automatic increases with tenure. Kendall offers full-time and part-time positions; we are open to working with your schedule.

Job duties include washing and vacuuming new and pre-owned vehicles, driving and moving vehicles as needed, fueling vehicles at an off-site location, preparing vehicles by removing wraps and getting them customer ready, occasionally jumpstarting or charging vehicles, janitorial tasks inside and outside the dealership, delivering vehicles to other Kendall locations.

Work is generally performed both outdoors and indoors, some time spent in a shop environment, majority of job duties will be completed via standing or walking, though bending and twisting will occur to enter and exit vehicles. Use of some mechanical hand tools, pressure washers and general carwash equipment will be used daily and throughout entire work shift.
