Job summary

Kendall Ford of Wasilla is seeking a Lot Attendant to join our team. In this entry-level role you will wash and move vehicles, keep them test-drive ready, and help maintain a clean, welcoming lot.

This full-time position offers hands-on training, weekend/evening shifts, benefits including medical, dental, and vision, paid time off, and a 401(k). You’ll work in Alaska with a family-owned dealership that values growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be willing to work weekend and/or evening shifts.
  • Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks and vans.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and vacuum new and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Drive and move vehicles as needed and fuel at off-site location.
  • Prepare vehicles by removing wraps and getting them customer ready.
  • Occasionally jumpstart or charge vehicles and perform janitorial tasks.

We are looking for full-time self-motivated, reliable candidates ready to begin a career in the auto industry. This is an entry level position providing training and room for growth. We also offer ample opportunities for career advancement for good performers, whether you're interested in sales or service this position will allow you to enter the auto industry and find the right career path.

Job duties include washing and vacuuming new and pre-owned vehicles, driving and moving vehicles as needed, fueling vehicles at an off-site location, preparing vehicles by removing wraps and getting them customer ready, occasionally jumpstarting or charging vehicles, janitorial tasks inside and outside the dealership, delivering vehicles to other Kendall locations.

Work is generally performed both outdoors and indoors, some time spent in a shop environment, majority of job duties will be completed via standing or walking, though bending and twisting will occur to enter and exit vehicles. Use of some mechanics hand tools, pressure washers and general carwash equipment will be used daily and throughout entire work shift.

Requirements

Candidates must be willing to work weekend and/or evening shifts, have the capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models, have a good driving record and valid driver license.
