Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) seeks an engineer to join the Production Application Team of the Infotainment Software Department. You will plan and design infotainment features, develop UI/UX, and translate customer needs into technical specs for next‑gen vehicle software.

Responsibilities include designing head-unit screens, creating wireframes, and collaborating with multiple software teams to support concept development and POC work. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field and 1+ years in automotive infotainment.
• Experience with UI/UX methods, wireframes, and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design automotive infotainment features and define engineering specs
• Develop UI/UX and wireframes for infotainment features
• Investigate customer needs and translate into technical specs
• Design head-unit screens and wireframes from a user-centered perspective
• Create infotainment content and UX for clear instructions and labels
• Collaborate with internal teams to support feature development and POC efforts
• Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally
