Job summary

Kendall Auto Group in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Detailer to join our Reconditioning Center. You will wash, polish, wax, and clean vehicles; vacuum and shampoo interiors; and preserve vehicle appearance according to Kendall and manufacturer guidelines.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated with good time management who can work indoors in a shop setting. Prior detailing experience is preferred but not required; training available.

Qualifications

• Detailing, car washing, polishing and waxing skills.
• Time management and reliability.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Wash, polish, and wax all new and used vehicles; vacuum and shampoo interiors; clean and polish glass; and attend to engine compartments.
• Document all work completed to Kendall and manufacturer guidelines; maintain shop cleanliness.

We are looking for a Detailer to join our Anchorage Reconditioning Center team. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, willing to learn, and have good time management.

Job duties will include washing, polishing, waxing all new and used vehicles, vacuuming and shampooing vehicle interiors, cleaning and polishing vehicle glass, cleaning engine compartments, touching up chipped services and paint imperfections, chemically treating tires, vinyl, and other surfaces as needed, and documenting all work completed to Kendall and manufacture guidelines.

Carwash/detailing experience in a dealership setting, large shop, or detail shop is preferred but not required!

Work is primarily performed indoors in a shop environment, exposure to noise, vibration, dust, paint, cleaning solutions, use of general hand tools, bending, twisting, and crouching will be required frequently to perform job duties, climbing and reaching will be required often to clean all parts of vehicles and pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds of force occasionally performed.
