Job summary

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Carwash Attendant/Porter at our Nissan location in Idaho. This entry-level role focuses on maintaining lot appearances and ensuring vehicles are clean, with training provided. The position offers career growth opportunities and is outdoors, mostly standing/walking with some bending.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings.
• Entry level position with training provided.
• A good driving record and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Moves, cleans and works with vehicles to maintain vehicle display and support the service department activities.
• Assesses display lots and takes action to display vehicles to Kendall standards.
• Directs customers to the appropriate service advisor and gathers basic vehicle information for check-in.
• Operates car wash equipment and assists in wash process.
• Safely uses buckets, brushes, brooms, pressure washers and hand tools to clean exterior and interior of vehicles.
• Performs periodic maintenance on wash equipment and keeps the facility clean and orderly.
• Other janitorial tasks as needed.

We are looking for self-motivated, reliable candidates ready to begin a career in the auto industry. This is an entry level position providing training and room for growth. A Carwash Attendant/Porter is responsible for the appearance of the lot, making sure vehicles are clean, arriving and departing to the appropriate store locations.

Responsibilities:

• Moves, cleans and works with vehicles to maintain vehicle display and support the service department activities.

Work is performed outdoors, majority of job duties will be completed via standing or walking, though bending and twisting will be required to wash vehicles. Use of some mechanics hand tools, pressure washers and general carwash equipment will be used daily and throughout entire work shift.

Requirements

Candidates must be willing to work weekend and evening shifts.. You must have the capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models as moving and transporting vehicles to different dealership locations is required. A good driving record and valid driver license is required.
