Job summary

Kendall Auto Group in Anchorage is seeking a Detailer for our Reconditioning Center. The candidate should be self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced shop environment.

Primary duties include washing, detailing, and maintaining vehicles with attention to Kendall and manufacturer guidelines. Prior detailing in a dealership or large shop is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in car wash and detailing is preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Wash, polish, and wax vehicles (new and used).
• Vacuum and shampoo interiors.
• Clean and polish glass and engine compartments.
• Touch up chipped surfaces and paint imperfections.
• Chemically treat tires, vinyl and other surfaces.
• Document all work according to Kendall and manufacturer guidelines.

We are looking for a Detailer to join our Anchorage Reconditioning Center team. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, willing to learn, and have good time management.

Job duties will include washing, polishing, waxing all new and used vehicles, vacuuming and shampooing vehicle interiors, cleaning and polishing vehicle glass, cleaning engine compartments, touching up chipped services and paint imperfections, chemically treating tires, vinyl, and other surfaces as needed, and documenting all work completed to Kendall and manufacture guidelines.

Carwash/detailing experience in a dealership setting, large shop, or detail shop is preferred but not required!

Work is primarily performed indoors in a shop environment, exposure to noise, vibration, dust, paint, cleaning solutions, use of general hand tools, bending, twisting, and crouching will be required frequently to perform job duties, climbing and reaching will be required often to clean all parts of vehicles and pushing or pulling up to 20 pounds of force occasionally performed.
