Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Senior Capture Manager 3 to lead capture efforts for DoD/IC space programs at Redondo Beach, CA or Dulles, VA. You will shape opportunities, build customer relationships, and drive strategy across bids with cross-functional teams.

This role requires a DoD TS clearance, SCI eligibility, and 7+ years in program management, capture, or business development. Travel up to 25% is expected; US Federal experience is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years’ experience in program management, customer management, capture, and/or business development.
  • Current DoD TS clearance and eligibility for SCI at time of application.
  • US federal agency experience required.
  • DoD or IC Space domain experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead capture activities and develop winning strategies.
  • Identify and shape opportunities; qualify opportunities.
  • Perform business case analysis and price-to-win assessments.
  • Maintain relationships with key decision-makers and government counterparts.
  • Coordinate with teammates and suppliers; manage risk and mitigation.

Senior Capture Manager 3

This position requires you to work at one of the primary work sites: Redondo Beach, CA; Dulles, VA.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Capture Leadership
  • Opportunity identification and shaping

  • Business case analysis
  • Customer relationship Management
  • Customer acquisition approach analysis and shaping
  • Professional relationship development and maintenance with key decision makers
  • Government Relations collaboration on customer engagement strategies and execution
  • Future customer requirements analysis and planning
  • Capture strategy development and execution
  • Customer and competitor assessments
  • Price-to-Win analysis
  • Teammate/supplier selection and relationship management
  • Threat identification and mitigation
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree 7+ years’ experience with program management, customer management, capture, and/or business development and technical leadership.
  • Must have a current DoD TS and eligibility for SCI at the time of application.
  • US Federal Agency experience required.
  • Must have DoD or IC Space domain experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in program planning, budget development and execution, workforce planning, risk management, and the implementation of project processes and controls
  • Current user and acquisition customer relationships
Salary and Compensation

Primary Level Salary Range: $159,500.00 - $239,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.

Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
