You will lead a team of analysts, apply GAAP and SAP, and provide guidance on regulatory and financial issues while representing the division at industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with CPA exam prerequisites.
• Four years of experience auditing insurance company operations or related work.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SAP and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• License captive insurers and regulate their financial solvency in NC.
• Advise Deputy Commissioner and manage regulatory processes for captives.
• Travel and speak at captive industry events as required.
• Lead and develop a team of Insurance Company Analysts.
