Qualifications

• Merchant Mariner Credential with Master endorsement

• First Class Pilot's License within one year of appointment
• Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) currently valid

Responsibilities

• Command sludge vessel and supervise crew
• Direct mooring, loading and unloading operations
• Maintain vessel logs, inspect equipment and enforce safety and regulatory compliance
• Provide safety briefings, drills and ensure adherence to Coast Guard and DEP rules
