Responsibilities

• Control ingress and egress to the chamber floor during floor sessions per rules.
• Enforce decorum as prescribed by Senate Rules.
• Ensure chamber is prepared daily for floor sessions.
• Distribute daily publications to Capitol offices.
• Greet visitors and respond efficiently to questions.
