The Utah Senate is seeking a flexible, full-time Page to serve during the Legislature’s annual general session from January 11 to March 5. This nonpartisan, seasonal role requires business professional dress and reliable in-office presence at Capitol Hill, Salt Lake City.

You will assist the Secretary of the Senate in the chamber and at the East Senate Office reception desk, deliver bills and documents, and help with committee meetings and daily floor sessions, with potential extended hours

Qualifications

• Punctuality, dependability, and nonpartisanship are required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are expected.
• Ability to work in a professional office environment is essential.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and work under time constraints.

Responsabilités

• Be present in the Senate chamber during each daily floor session.
• Follow the Secretary of the Senate's direction and instruction.
• Organize and deliver handouts to Senators (bills, daily order of business, messages).
• Assist with reception duties when the Senate is not in floor session.
• Deliver bills between the legislative printing office, the Senate, and the House.
