Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to work flexible hours during legislative sessions.
Must be able to life boxes of 50 pounds and push/pull a cart up to 200 pounds.
Ability to navigate the Capitol Complex and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Maintain order for individuals admitted to House areas.
Attend sessions and execute Doorkeeper's orders.
Secure caucus meetings and access to restricted spaces.
Prevent disruption of House proceedings and coordinate with State Police when needed.
Perform daily security checks and assist with emergency procedures.
Deliver inter-office mail and assist visitors seeking information.
Provide phone coverage as needed; perform other duties as assigned.
