Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's/EPC side. You will write the project quality plan, set surveillance and audit programs, qualify vendors, and report quality performance to project leadership.

You will manage nonconformance and corrective actions and ensure records will stand up at turnover, coordinating with the owner’s quality organization and site teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• Able to write quality requirements that contractors can execute and enforce.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own nonconformance, corrective actions, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
