Job summary

The New York City Mayor's Office is seeking an experienced leader for capital project delivery and interagency coordination within the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Operations. You will liaise with city agencies, drive strategic planning, and oversee large-scale infrastructure projects across all five boroughs.

The role requires strong operations design, project management expertise, and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear presentations for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years of experience working in capital project management and capital delivery for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience in business operations, process design, and project management.
• Ability to operate independently with excellent time management and to deliver on multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between the Deputy Mayor for Operations and the capital project teams at the City's critical infrastructure agencies.
• Support strategic planning and project execution for large-scale infrastructure projects across the five boroughs.
• Facilitate interagency coordination, set timelines and milestones, review capital improvement plans, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Monitor best practices and trends, and make policy and operational recommendations for high-profile capital projects.
• Support implementation of infrastructure projects necessary to advance neighborhood planning initiatives.
• Coordinate Deputy Mayor briefings, prep materials, and calendaring; support DMO staff as needed.
• Participate in internal and external meetings to ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Develop and facilitate systems and processes for City Hall coordination.
• Coordinate across Deputy Mayor teams.
