Job summary

The Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy seeks an experienced procurement leader to manage the full lifecycle of capital project sourcing, contracting, and vendor management. This on-site role collaborates with university stakeholders to ensure compliant, cost-effective outcomes across architectural, engineering, construction, and FF&E procurements.

Responsibilities include developing RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, negotiating terms, and maintaining contract templates in coordination with university

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or related professional experience in business/finance/economics.
10+ years of procurement and contracting experience for architecture, engineering and construction services.
Experience managing procurement for large institutions with multiple projects.
Experience bidding and soliciting proposals.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office; contract terms and project management software PMWeb/PeopleSoft.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end sourcing to contracting process for capital projects.
Develop scope, specification and solicitation documents.
Ensure adherence to procurement policies and project timelines.
Establish and maintain preferred design professionals and contractors program.
Coordinate with project planners/managers to determine procurement needs and timelines.
Oversee contract development, negotiation and execution with Counsel.
