Job summary

The Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) is seeking Design and Construction Management Interns to support a multi‑billion‑dollar capital program across 26 campuses. You will work with Project Managers and Directors on projects from under $1M to over $50M, assisting with budget, procurement, design, and closeout.

You will learn CUNY's project management processes, use PMWeb, and participate in meetings, documenting actions and keeping projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a CUNY program with at least 48 credits toward a Bachelor's degree.
• Strong technical and analytical skills with excellent communication.
• Proficiency in project management tools and standard software.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers and assistants in capital projects from inception to closeout.
• Attend design and construction meetings and document minutes.
• Assist in budget estimation, procurement, and change-order tracking.
• Use PMWeb for data entry and progress reporting.
• Coordinate with designers, contractors and internal staff.
