Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a Plant Engineer to support capital project execution at the Fort St. Vrain Power Plant. The role is a 1-year contract onsite in Platteville, CO, with potential extension and close collaboration with operations and external partners.

The candidate will review designs, maintain design basis accountability, and provide technical oversight throughout project lifecycles, focusing on mechanical and piping systems and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical or related).
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in power/industrial facilities.
• Experience conducting technical design reviews and interpreting P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for capital project execution at the Fort St. Vrain Power Plant.
• Conduct technical design reviews and ensure compliance with standards.
• Review project docs, engineering packages, and proposed design changes.
