Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Capital Projects Manager (Renew) to lead planning, development, and execution of large capital projects across our generation fleet, with emphasis on solar, battery energy storage systems, and capacity uprates. You will ensure safety, scheduling, and budget compliance while delivering technical quality and strong stakeholder alignment.

This role requires extensive EPC contract experience, risk management, and coordination across functions, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe behavior and lead the team to establish leading indicators for safety in design and implementation.
• Define the project organization structure and identify required technical skills.
• Support procurement activities including bid evaluations and vendor selection.
• Lead the project team to develop and execute assignments per corporate standards and processes.
• Conduct risk identification and mitigation planning across cost, schedule, technical, environmental, and regulatory aspects.
• Direct development and oversight of the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
• Coordinate with functions to meet standards and budget/timeline requirements; handover equipment to Operations with training and instructions.
• Navigate Entergy Stage Gate Process and deliverables including cost estimates and risk registers.
• Act as Contract Manager for large EPC contracts; monitor performance against scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
