RTX is seeking a Capital Manager to support the operations team by executing a transformational strategy for incoming manufacturing equipment and facility restructuring. You will handle financial management, cross‑department scheduling, and turnover support to ensure seamless delivery.

This onsite role focuses on F135 manufacturing growth and requires strong coordination across departments in Columbus, GA. The position emphasizes budgeting, schedule integration, and safety/compliance as you

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Project Management, or related field with required experience OR a master’s with fewer years.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
• Ability to create clear project documentation, reports, presentations, and status updates for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage project financials including budgeting, eCars submissions, purchase orders, invoicing, and cost tracking.
• Develop, maintain, and coordinate integrated project schedules across multiple departments.
• Oversee machine installation timelines, facilities & services PM schedules, and site-level project readiness.
• Monitor job site activities to ensure safe, compliant project execution.
• Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, EHS, Maintenance, Quality, and Digital.
• Support turnover activities with training, documentation, communication plans, and compliance actions.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues affecting timelines or readiness.
• Provide regular status reporting on progress, financials, and schedule adherence.
