Job summary

RTX is seeking a Capital Manager in Columbus, GA to support the operations organization in executing a transformational strategy for incoming manufacturing equipment and facility restructuring. This role is responsible for financial management, cross‑department schedule coordination, and operational turnover support to ensure seamless project delivery.

The Capital Manager will drive alignment across technical and operational teams, with primary focus on supporting F135 manufacturing growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or PM with 5+ years of related experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience using project management tools like Microsoft Project.
• Ability to produce clear project docs, reports, and leadership updates.

Responsibilities

• Manage project financials: budgeting, POs, invoicing, cost tracking.
• Develop and coordinate integrated project schedules across departments.
• Oversee machine installation timelines and PM schedules.
• Monitor site activities for safety, compliance, and efficiency.
• Provide regular status reports on progress, finances, and schedule.
