Job summary

RTX is seeking a Capital Manager to support the operations team in executing a transformational strategy for incoming manufacturing equipment and facility restructuring. This onsite role in Columbus, GA focuses on financial management, cross‑department scheduling, and turnover support for seamless project delivery.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, schedules, and safety, while coordinating across Operations, Engineering, EHS, Maintenance, and Quality to enable growth in F135

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Finance, or PM with 5+ years in engineering/manufacturing/PM environments
• Experience with Microsoft Project for project management
• Proficiency with Excel and Office applications
• Ability to produce clear leadership-ready reports and updates

Responsibilities

• Manage project financials, including budgeting, POs, invoicing, and cost tracking.
• Develop and coordinate integrated project schedules across departments to ensure alignment and on-time execution.
• Oversee machine installation timelines, maintenance schedules, and site readiness activities.
• Monitor job site activities to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication among Operations, Engineering, EHS, Maintenance, Quality, and Digital.
• Support turnover activities with training, documentation, and communication plans.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and elevate issues impacting timelines.
• Provide regular status reporting on progress, finances, and schedule adherence to leadership.
