Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Capital Project Manager to oversee capital projects, renovations, and equipment/installations. You will coordinate internal teams and third parties, ensure plans align with Owner/General Manager directives, and manage budgets and schedules.

The role requires a four-year degree (preferred) and at least 3 years of managerial experience, with knowledge of building systems and codes. You will interact across hotel and casino facilities to minimize disruptions.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years' experience as a manager.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, boilers, and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of public construction, building codes, permits and fire safety.
  • Ability to analyze systems for design, intent and performance.
  • Experience with project planning, cost control, scheduling and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, manage resources, ensure timely completion, oversee quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Collect and communicate project requirements to teams.
  • Evaluate performance of project team members and managers.
  • Lead scope development and front-end engineering for capital projects.
  • Develop and implement the company's Project Management Process for capital projects.
  • Coordinate with departments to minimize disruption to customers and employees.
  • Manage project funds according to accounting policies.
