Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a Corporate Real Estate CAPEX Project/Facility Operations Manager to lead a portfolio of construction and capital improvements while ensuring safe, reliable facility operations. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to meet goals, budgets, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Work authorization to work in the United States.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, facility management, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in project management, construction, or facility management.
• Understanding of construction methods, regulations, building systems and maintenance.
• PM software and CRE tools experience; AP systems familiarity encouraged.
• Certs such as CFM or PMP are advantageous.
• On-site Monday–Friday in Jefferson City, MO; up to 30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage capital projects with defined goals, scope, budget, and schedule.
• Oversee contract preparation and performance, ensuring obligations are met.
• Monitor progress, schedule adherence, and budget stewardship with on‑site reviews.
• Conduct site inspections and manage quality and safety standards.
• Track expenses and identify cost‑saving opportunities; manage AP elements.
• Identify project risks and mitigate; ensure regulatory and industry compliance.
• Serve as communication hub among owners, contractors, and internal teams.
• Support facility operations through budgeting, relationships, and sustainable practices.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and guidelines.
