Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY USA INC. is seeking a Corporate Real Estate CAPEX Project/Facility Operations Manager in Jefferson City, MO.

You will lead a portfolio of capital projects, coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors, and ensure budget, scope, and schedule alignment to keep critical energy operations running safely and efficiently. You will also support day-to-day facilities operations, drive risk mitigation, maintain safety standards, and potentially expand responsibilities across the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, facility management, engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project management, construction, facility management, or related areas.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, regulations, building systems, and maintenance.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience using project management software, CRE tools, and accounts payable systems.
• Certifications such as CFM or PMP are advantageous.
• On-site Monday–Friday at Jefferson City, MO.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate capital projects by defining goals, scope, budget, and schedule with owners and stakeholders.
• Oversee contract preparation and management, ensuring obligations and performance requirements are met.
• Monitor construction progress, schedule adherence, and budget stewardship, including on-site reviews.
• Conduct site inspections and manage quality standards to ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Track expenses, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and manage AP within shared‑service tools.
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure safety and compliance.
• Serve as a communication hub across owners, contractors, and internal teams.
• Support broader facility operations through maintenance oversight and stakeholder engagement.
