Job summary

The Manager, Engineering at Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies leads the development, implementation, and installation of production capital equipment and facilities. You will partner with product managers, plant managers, and service teams to drive productivity, efficiency, and profitability across capital projects.

Responsibilities include defining scope, designing specifications, procuring equipment, managing costs and schedules, and supervising engineering staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field is required.
• 7+ years in project engineering/capital equipment management, incl. 3+ years in leadership.
• Experience leading large capital projects from design to start-up.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineering staff and technicians to ensure timely project completion.
• Manage full lifecycle: specification, design, procurement, installation, start-up, commissioning.
• Develop and maintain project cost estimates and schedules.
• Provide field supervision during installation and start-up at sites.
• Maintain project documentation and reports for future planning.
• Oversee prioritization and resource allocation within the engineering unit.
• Establish productivity metrics and staff performance improvements.
• Manage budgets for staff training, travel, and project expenses.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and consultants.
• Develop and uphold standard processes and engineering standards.
• Provide on-site support to manufacturing sites.
• Other duties as assigned.
