Job summary

Aqua Pennsylvania, a leader in water and wastewater utilities, seeks a Capital Project Engineer to oversee capital improvement projects across the system. You will manage projects from planning to completion, including cost estimation, scheduling, permitting, and coordination with internal teams and external consultants.

This role requires travel across Northeastern Pennsylvania with some overnight stays, and a mix of office and fieldwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 5+ years of design experience in water and wastewater projects.
• PE license or eligibility to obtain within 12 months.
• PA driver's license and ability to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee capital projects for water and wastewater systems.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and contractors.
• Prepare permit applications, bid documents, and contracts.
• Travel across Northeastern Pennsylvania for site visits.
