Job summary

The Capital Project Engineer is based at MMPA's Ovid manufacturing facility and is responsible for developing and delivering capital projects that protect plant integrity, sustain throughput, and build the manufacturing capability required for future growth.

This role leads assigned capital projects from concept through commissioning and turnover, working closely with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Environmental, and Operational Technology/Automation teams to ensure

Qualifications

Experience with project estimating, budgeting and scheduling.
Strong financial control and cost-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
Experience managing multiple capital projects in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Concept to commissioning of capital projects.
Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Environmental and OT teams.
Develop scopes, designs, cost estimates, and schedules; support long-range capital plans.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors and equipment suppliers.
Ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence; finalize turnover packages.
