Job summary

Pasco County is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex architectural and construction planning for new facilities, expansions, and capital improvements. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field with 6 years' experience in architecture, project management, or construction; three years as a project manager.
• Master's Degree with four years' experience.
• Three years' experience in construction project estimating and Florida building codes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise architects, engineers, contractors and vendors on construction and capital projects.
• Oversee budgets, expenditures and contract negotiations for capital projects; monitor costs and schedules.
• Prepare project status reports and schedules; ensure ADA improvements and security updates.
• Coordinate with county departments, elected officials and OMB to meet timeframes and budget requirements.
