Job summary

Park Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Staff Accountant, Capital Projects to own CAPEX lifecycle, from contract analysis to asset capitalization and depreciation forecasting. You’ll work with Hotels and corporate teams, ensuring accurate reporting and GAAP adherence, with in-person work Monday through Thursday and optional remote on Friday.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance with 1+ year in accounting, strong Excel skills, and comfort with Oracle Cloud ERP and fixed assets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Accounting with reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate contracts and invoices for GAAP treatment.
• Input and code CAPEX invoices in the system.
• Maintain capital projects and lifecycle reporting.
• Prepare fixed asset reporting and depreciation forecasts.
• Assist with monthly fixed asset rollforward.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements and internal controls.
