Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's/EPC side. You will write the project quality plan, establish surveillance and audit programs, qualify vendors and inspection subcontractors, and report quality performance to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.

The role requires 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects, with ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification

Qualifications

Requires 6+ years of quality experience on construction or industrial capital projects.
ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification required or preferred.
Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
Able to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute and enforce them.

Responsibilities

Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements.
Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
Qualify vendors and inspection agencies; review contractor QC plans and inspector qualifications.
Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
