Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's/EPC side. You will write the project quality plan, set surveillance and audit programs, qualify vendors, and report metrics to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.

The role requires 6+ years in construction quality, 2+ years leading a project quality program, and certifications such as ISO 9001 lead auditor or ASQ CMQ/OE preferred. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects; 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
• ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and the contractor and supplier quality requirements from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies; review contractor QC plans and ITPs.
• Own nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
